NEW TERM FOR 2021 AUTUMN/WINTER START WEEK COMMENCING THE 6TH OF SEPTEMBER-11TH DECEMBER 2021- Enrolment for this term will commence at the start of July 2021.
SUMMER TERM: 12TH APRIL–10TH JULY 2021 Please note there will be no weekly classes during half term from 31st May-5th of June- Activate parents will be notified via email of any changes to classes and announcements will be posted on our social media pages.

Meet the Team
Louise graduated from De Montfort University with a BA Hons in Performing Arts. She then spent a number of years touring with professional Theatre companies and performing in shows in both the UK and Europe. Louise has performed and directed performances and Musicals in rep theatre. She has taught at many Theatres and Stage Schools before setting up Activate Theatre. She has used her professional experience and creative vision to establish and grow Activate into an exciting and magical theatre experience for all the young performers of the North East. Louise is also a Trained Arts Award Advisor and also teaches 121 LAMDA classes with our Activate stars.
Patrick studied Performing Arts at the University of Surrey. After graduating he worked for many touring theatre companies touring in the UK, Germany and Italy performing a wide range of material ranging from Shakespearean classics to modern musicals. Patricks real passion is writing and technical design and loves the platform that Activate gives him to demonstrate these art forms.
Tulsi is currently a business administrator for Activate Theatre, she assists and teaches across many of our classes. Tulsi was educated at the University of Sunderland, and graduated with a BA in Performing arts in 2019. Tulsi previously studied a Level 3 extended diploma in Performing Arts at New College Durham. Tulsi has vast experience in all aspects of performance. Performing in many musical, dance and drama productions across the North East. Tulsi has an array of teaching experience in drama and dance and is a fully qualified Cheerleading coach with BGU. She also participated in her University’s competitive cheerleading squad; “Sunderland Stars”. She travelled to many competitions across the UK, and developed a love and passion for the sport. Tulsi loves working for Activate Theatre, and is very passionate and excited about training the young performer’s of tomorrow.
Carolyn has worked in and performed in many Theatrical settings. She has taught the young stars of the North East for a number of years and has written, directed and devised a collection of outstanding shows. She continues to be an inspiration to our Activate Stars.
Amy had the fantastic opportunity at the age of 10 to perform the role of ‘Debbie’ in Billy Elliot The Musical at the Victoria Palace Theatre, London where her career in the Performing Arts began. She was then offered a Scholarship placement at a London full time Theatre School. She furthered her Musical Theatre studies at The BRIT School of Performing Arts, London and then onto KSA Trinity College London where she achieved a Professional Musical Theatre Performer qualification.
Peter Kerry-Forbes is a dance artist, actor and writer based in the North-East of England. He is a dance teacher with Activate Theatre, an Associate Artist / Core Ensemble member of State of Grace, and the Artistic Director of Not So Silent: Dance Theatre. In 2014 Peter came back to the North-East to continue training, teaching and creating his own work. Prior to this he has been performing around the UK and overseas in various stage productions, events, television programmes and feature / dance films. After graduating from the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts in 2012, with a BA (Hons) Dance (Performing Arts) degree
Bradie first came to Activate as a student in 2014, and quickly developed a huge passion for the performing arts. Since joining, her talent and commitment to the arts has shone through and she was asked to become an assistant for the Mini and Rising star classes. Bradie has performed in many shows and performed some leading roles including, Mary Poppins, Morticia Addams, The Genie and many more. She is currently studying Media at New College Durham and has been working very closely with Activate to build on her work experience in social media by assisting with promo material for the company.
Eva first came to Activate as a student in 2012, and quickly developed a huge passion for the performing arts. Since joining, her talent and brilliant improvisation skills and character work has gone from strength to strength. She was asked to become an assistant for the Mini and Rising star classes. Eva has performed in many shows and performed some leading roles including, Gomez Addams, Aladdin, and many more. She is currently studying her A Levels at St Bede’s Sixth Form.
